is a preschool music program designed to unleash the musical potential of young children in preschools and childcare centers. This program will provide a fun and nurturing environment in which children will be introduced to music through singing, movement, and response to rhythmic patterns. They will also enjoy a curriculum that includes instrument discovery and learning the basic fundamentals of music such as pitch, melody, harmony, and dynamics. The curriculum, songs and learning materials used in the classes have been specifically chosen and created for children 2-5 years old.   Music can be defined as the art of expressing or causing emotion by the melodious and harmonious combination of notes and or rhythms. Recent studies suggest that playing and listening to music at a young age improves learning, memory, reasoning ability and general creativity. Research also supports the theory that young children who are exposed to music develop enhanced cognitive skills.   “The Jam Cats”’ FUN and EXCITING classes are 30 minutes long and no hassle to you! We will provide you with everything  you need to get our classes started at your school including a free demonstration class, parent and school marketing materials, registration forms, sign up sheets, weekly hand-outs to each child regarding skills they have been learning, and flyers to help keep parents updated on important news.
